“What I love about The Destiny Project is the way it creatively engages your heart to reveal your unique passion and purpose in life. It by-passes your head’s tendency to want to figure it all out and taps directly into the aliveness and vibrancy within you that is uniquely yours, revealing the core of who God made you to be. My desire is to inspire others to freely dance from the inside out, and The Destiny Project is one of the keys to unlocking the dance!”
Janai launched her coaching and counseling practice after work in the area of recovery and as a school counselor. In addition to being a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), she is a talented coach passionate about helping women live purposeful, fulfilling lives.
“The Destiny Project was exactly what I needed in my walk with God. It provided a space to dream, reflect on my values, and create and discover my identity in Christ. It was unlike any other retreat because it provided a forum to actually do work with God, and to see Him work in others’ lives. I walked away with a new identity, and tools to stay on track in all areas of my life. I now have a notebook filled with all the ways I can see myself reaching my desired dreams and the specific goals God has intended for my life. The Destiny Project notebook is one I continue to open – and fill; it won’t be filed away any time soon.”
“I love the process of helping women discover their unique identity, run after dreams and seek the life they deeply desire. I lost my heart to the Destiny Project when I attended the retreat several years ago in Chicago, and was inspired to take it back home with me to the UK and Europe.”

As a Grow Pastor at Gateway Church in Austin, she helps people navigate their spiritual journey and become who God created them to be. Trained as a life coach, she is passionate about helping others discover their truest design, purpose or calling. She can often be found exploring the globe, adventuring outside or savoring the little things in life.
“I’ve been to hundreds of retreats and have led at least 50 retreats. What I love about the Destiny Project is that it’s not just a mountain-top experience like so many other retreats. With the Destiny Project, you leave having discovered your heart, what makes your heart come alive, your truest identity and your mission. But you also leave with tools on how to walk this out, and how to continue deepening the learning and putting it into practice. It’s like a powerful springboard from which to jump into the life you’ve always wanted.”
Kathy is a full-time leadership development program manager for a large corporation. Also a certified coach with the International Coach Federation, Kathy uses her leadership skills both within her company and externally to engage in transformative conversations with individuals and teams.
“As much as I long for deeply meaningful conversations, transformational experiences, and a purposeful life, I am suspicious of sugary sweet promises and Christian buzz words. So when it comes to diving into dreams and discovering one’s true identity, I would like to say I am the first in line, but in reality, I move to the edge, taking calculated risks; testing to see if it’s really worth the buzz. Is it for real? Can it be true for me? Will I be safe? Will I be exposed?
We often want to leave the unacceptable part of ourselves at home; the part God could not possibly use (or love) unless it gets fixed first. But to God, we are not a problem to be fixed, but a life to be lived. The Destiny Project provides a process that welcomes and illuminates a woman’s life. It gives her the opportunity to see and understand herself in fresh ways, challenging her to live this freshly seen life with greater intention. I am forever changed because of my experience at the Destiny Project. I am a new creation. The old is gone. The new has come…no sugar added.”
I coach Christian moms, who have tackled infertility, to get back in the game and start kickin’ it! You know how moms can lose their identity and become a boring, duddy version of their truly amazing selves? Well, what I do is help them to reclaim their true identity, while bringing joy, energy and depth back to their marriage and friendships.
“One of my absolute favorite things in life is being a Destiny Project leader. The teachings that God gives me about how I am uniquely created, apart from anyone else gets me pretty “geeked.” I love having a ringside seat as women have their own “ah-ha” moments where God speaks to them about being standout creations!”
